Something that wasn't there before. You carefully stick your hand in your coat pocket to find a soft piece of paper, almost like it could be fabric instead. Slowly, you pull out a vintage envelope marked and crinkled as if it had traveled a long journey. But how did it get into your pocket? Magic doesn't exist outside of books, right?

What's even more puzzling is there's no return address on the front. There's only a handwritten message in a swirly script that reads, "Please open immediately!" You trace a thumb over the wax seal, debating how wise it would be to open this mysterious letter. You have no idea what you'll find inside.

But no adventure ever started by doing nothing.
